Day of Remembrance 2019 Taiko fundraiser. 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Seattle University
In honor of Japanese American Day of Remembrance, the Minidoka Pilgrimage Planning Committee, Friends of Minidoka, and Seattle University are proud to present this year's Day of Remembrance Taiko Fundraiser 2019. Featuring Taiko groups from the Northwest. The proceeds of this fundraiser go to scholarships for Youth and Incarcerees over 80 years old to attend the Minidoka Pilgrimage.

Come see Kaze Daiko live! Northwest Folklife and Seattle Center are proud to present Our Big Neighborhood, a youth and family program that provides opportunities to share and sustain the vitality of folk, ethnic and traditional arts for present and future generations. Kaze is performing from 11:00-11:45 am on Tuesday, February 19 (mid-winter break for Seattle Schools) on the Armory Stage .
Sakuracon Anime Convention. Washington State Convention Center 12:00pm
Join us at the Northwest’s largest anime convention for a performance in the ‘Sakuradome’, followed by a Q&A session about taiko drumming, and a hands on class for the anyone in the audience who would like to try their hand. An annual tradition for Kaze Daiko and Sakuracon.
A selection of past performances. Kaze typically performs 20-30 times per year; at public and private functions and community workshops.
